One of our longest standing clients, Colt Technology Services asked that we complete an EcoVadis assessment as a way for them to review their supplier’s sustainability performance.
It’s been a really useful exercise as we received feedback that outlines our strengths and shows areas for improvement. The tool also provides the ability for us to benchmark our sustainability performance amongst our industry peers.

The EcoVadis assessment is an evaluation of how well a company has integrated the principles of Sustainability/CSR into their business and management system. The Sustainability Scorecard illustrates performance across 21 indicators in four themes:
We completed the assessment and submitted documentation online. For each response we had to prove that we have taken actions, achieved results and/ or show that we are embedding sustainable behaviours and decisions into the day-to-day operations of our business.
We had to clearly show that we were doing what we say we were doing! The team of EcoVadis experts reviewed our submission and scored it.
Our assessment was a collaboration from teams across our business including Operations, HR, Procurement and Sustainability.
We’re proud to have achieved such a high rating on our first assessment. Our results have shown where we are strong and where we need to improve.
We have several actions already laid out which we’ll be addressing through our internal sustainability programme called Think First. This programme involves everyone in our business on our journey to make our business more sustainable for the long term. It covers carbon reduction, reducing operational impacts, community engagement and business transparency.
These results are hugely beneficial for our clients who take reassurance from the fact that we’ve scored so well. It also allows them to benchmark us against other suppliers they may use.
